This Statement of Faith

is not exhaustive in content nor thorough in any subject, but does state forth the basics of Bible-believing Christianity. We want all to know that we believe the soul-saving, life-changing message of God's Holy Word, and preach and teach it without apology. We believe the Holy Bible, as preserved in the Authorized King James Version.

The Inspiration of the Bible

We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God; divinely preserved in the King James Version and is the final authority in matters of church doctrine and godly living. II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21

The Trinity

We believe in the eternal existence of the triune God, manifest in the person of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16-17; I John 5:7

The Deity of Christ

We believe in the pre-existent, eternal, immortal and only begotten Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost, Virgin born, sinless, and God incarnate. John 1:1-14; I Timothy 3:16

The Holy Spirit

We believe in His divine personality, His indwelling and sealing of the believer, His convicting and drawing of sinners to Christ. We also believe that He assists the believer in matters of righteousness, sin, prayer, and understanding of the Scripture and empowers us for service. Ephesians 4:30; I John 2:27; Acts 1:8

The Fall of Man

We believe that man, by free will, chose sin and fell under the condemnation of God and is deserving of both physical and spiritual death in the Lake of Fire. Because of one man's sin (Adam), man is by nature a lost sinner, depraved and in need of redemption by the regenerating ministry of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus Christ. Genesis 2:16-17; Romans 5:12; Revelation 20:14; I Peter 1:18-19

The Salvation of Sinners

We believe that salvation is a free gift offered to man by God through His grace, without the aid of man's works. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ as one's personal Saviour. Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 16:31

The Security of the Believers

We believe that those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour receive eternal life and can never perish. They are sealed unto the day of redemption by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. John 10:28; Ephesians 4:30

The Doctrine of the Church

We believe the church is a visible, called out assembly of baptized believers, organized and formed for the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in the autonomy of the Local Church and are against the Ecumenical Movement. A church should practice New Testament principles, believe its doctrines, and observe its ordinances, i.e., Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Matthew 16:16-18; Revelation 20:11-15

The Doctrine of Heaven and Hell

We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell. I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15
